As soon as your abstract has been formally accepted you may apply for a travel grant. The travel grant application will open after all abstracts have been evaluated.
This scholarship is available for diploma, bachelor, master or PhD students. The requirements are the active participation (with a poster or a talk) in the conference.
We are happy to offer you the possibility to apply for travel grants sponsored by the „Verband der Chemischen Industrie“ (VCI). For applying for this scholarship it is necessary that you are participating actively with a poster or an oral presentation and to register at our conference registration office until Thursday, 22nd of March 1:00 pm latest.
Please send your application until February 16th including the detailed costs (conference fee, travel costs, costs for accommodation and other scholarships), your abstract acceptance and a short letter of motivation (half a page) via email to fjs2018-guestservice.
If your application will be accepted you will receive an email with the amount of your scholarship. The money will be paid in cash on Saturday, 24th of March at the conference desk in Konstanz at the 20th JCF-Frühjahrssymposium.

To apply for this travel grant the application must contain the following documents:
Application letter with your funding of your conference trip.
- Your (electronic) signature is mandatory! (with letterhead ca. 1 page)
- GDCh membership number (Accordingly the membership in the German Chemical Society is an essential requirement)
- Your email address
- Proof of active participation (with poster or talk, copy of the approved abstract is enough)
- Estimates of travel expenses (conference fee, travel and accommodation expenses) Short CV (max. 2 pages)
All documents should be included in a single PDF file. The VFF travel grant application will open after all abstracts have been evaluated.
After the conference, a final report of approximately half a page has to be submitted.
