Social Activities

With most reactions, storing your educts in the right atmosphere, is KEY.

- old chemists saying

Same holds for good food, good drinks and good laughs - they must be strictly kept in an informal atmosphere for a successful reaction.

Therefore, we invite you to join the Conference Dinner and Conference Party, which will take place on the evening of Thursday, the 22nd March. No talks, but talking...

Additionally we put together a variety of activities for Saturday, the 23rd, after the last talk of the conference. We plan to show you around a bit and tell some stories of Bremen - then and now!

With these impressions we will hopefully bring you, us and the city of Bremen closer together and put the cherry on top of the conference cake - before we sadly have to say goodbye...

Venues

On this map you can find all the different venues we want to show you during the conference. But, by no means, feel tied to only visit these places - Bremen offers way more to see and experience. If you want to find out more, have a look at the Bremen tourism agency's website...

EYCN Delegate Assembly

Each year, the European Young Chemists’ Network (EYCN) organises a meeting with all national representatives from the member societies of the EYCN: the EYCN Delegate Assembly (DA). In 2019, the young chemists section of the German Chemical Society (GDCh-JCF) will host the 14th DA in Bremen (Germany) from 17th to 20th March 2019. The EYCN Board and the Organizing Committee have the pleasure to cordially invite you to attend the assembly.

After the great feedback we got from the “EYCN Symposium” organized during the 13th DA in Torino, we decided to repeat it. Therefore, if you want to present a poster during the “EYCN Symposium”, please submit your abstract by 31st of January 2019 via our conference management system

To register, use the voucher code that you received from the EYCN Board. Please contact the EYCN Board if you want to participate (secretary@eycn.eu).
